Read “The Continued Challenges to Attorney Wellbeing” by Attorneys Nancy Steer and Emily Alcorn
McWherter, Scott & Bobbitt is excited to announce that two of its attorneys, Nancy R. Steer and Emily S. Alcorn, recently co-authored an article, The Continued Challenges to Attorney Wellbeing, which was published in the Fall 2023 Edition of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Magazine.
Their article focuses on the continued need for attorney wellbeing in conjunction with ever-increasing connectivity in the practice of law. This constant connectivity has created additional challenges to attorneys, and the article addresses both the pros and cons of such constant connectivity, as well as the difficulties associated with parenting while practicing law in this always-connected world. In conjunction with two other attorneys, Ms. Steer and Ms. Alcorn worked together in this article to address these challenges, offer best practices concerning those challenges, and continue to raise awareness among attorneys that mental health among attorneys not only matters, but is critical to the practice of law.
Let’s congratulate Ms. Steer and Ms. Alcorn for their dedicated work to such an important topic affecting all attorneys. Their article, The Continued Challenges to Attorney Wellbeing, can be accessed on the TTLA website or here.
